Define What You Stand For
I help leadership teams write or refresh mission and values statements that shape culture, guide decisions, and inspire employees. Through a facilitated process of discovery, alignment, and painless wordsmithing (I promise!), we’ll capture what makes your organization unique and turn it into simple, memorable statements your people actually use.
THE PROCESS
STEP 1 — Online Survey: Organization-wide survey to gather employee insights on the current mission and culture.
STEP 2 — Leadership Team Workshop: A half-day, highly interactive with your executive team to identify and prioritize key mission and values themes.
STEP 3 — Refinement & Wordsmithing: Two to three focused workshops with a small group of leadership team members to distill outputs from Step 2 and craft multiple wording options for mission and values statements.
STEP 4 — Executive Team Review: A 90-minute session with the full leadership team to review refined statement options and collectively determine the final versions.
STEP 5 — Communication & Implementation Plan: A 90-minute workshop to build a clear plan for communicating the new statements and embedding them into people processes and operations across the organization.
